You Were Here...

...And now you're not. The most horrible thing has occurred, and I am heartbroken- I've had a miscarriage. I found out yesterday during our first OBGYN appointment. "Blighted Ovum" is the proper term. The doctor couldn't find anything but "debris" on the ultrasound, the very place you were meant to be. We thought we would get our first small glimpse at you, our little raspberry, but instead, there were only snowy remains. I am so hurt. I didn't know I'd lost you, didn't know you were gone, as I had no symptoms. I have never gone from excited to distressed so quickly in my life; my how a single world can crumble so. My heart is shattered and my mind is fractured. The grief is strong and I mourn you. I mourn what you were and what you could've been. I mourn for your father; he hurts now, too.   It's a GIRL! You're a girl, I mean. We got the results back a little later than I previously thought, however, that doesn't matter, because we found out tonight that you are a beautiful little girl! I am overjoyed that I get to be the mother to a strong, powerful woman. I promise to make you strong. I am, however, a little ticked off that your father got his way. He was just born with luck on his side, I guess. You better believe that he was happy that you're a girl and that he no longer has to choose a boy name. I did task him with coming up with your middle name, however, and I think he's going to take quite a while to do so. But, that's okay, because, as of right now you are little Mina Anderson-Wolfson, and I have the privilege of being the first to type that out. I can't wait until you can proudly spell you own name, I can't wait until I hear it being called when you win a million awards, and I can't wait to read it in the news when you do ...

Passed a Year in September

      I'm repeating the fact that I am a bad mother! I haven't written a thing about you since you were in the womb, and you're one now! Shame on me, and I'm sorry. You are a handful and take all my time, all I want to do with my downtime is relax. Here's some quick infromation I want to get down, You were born on your due date, liely due to sex, yout head was blocking the "water," the doctor shoved the speculum in me  to see if I was in labor and it hurt so bad I started crying and it seemed like she didn;t care. Dick. I got a corona virus test that made me tear up, you're dad was finally esxcited. I labored for about 8 hoursbefor they todl me I had to get pitocin and the epidural sucked. One nurse was an  angel and vouched I didnt need to be cut open The turned of the epdicural meds so I could feel the contractions and that sucked, th doctor only cmae in when i was pushing and i tored secodn degree. You swalloed merrconium and had about five stranger...
